Proiect EU CAMINO

Acest proiect a avut 29 de participanti din 18 tari membre UE si a fost initiat cu ocazia Anului Sfant, pe Camino de Santiago in Galicia Spania.

A trecut deja un an, dar in sufletul meu totul e la fel de viu.

Am plecat cu teama, pentru ca desi stiam ca va fi un proiect frumos, Eugenia m-a pregatise sa fiu cat mai realista, sa nu am prea mari asteptari. Si uite asa, acest proiect mi-a depasit cu mult asteptarile.

Prima luna a fost un vis! A fost o luna de cursuri si pregatire pentru ce avea sa fie misiunea noastra de jumatate de an. Pe langa On Arrival Training, am avut parte de cursuri de istorie si cultura a Spaniei dar si a regiunii in care locuiam noi, Galicia, istoria Camino de Santiago si cel mai frumos Camino in sine. Da, am facut Camino pentru a vedea cum e sa fii pelerin, ce simti, ce nevoi ai, pentru ca mai apoi, stiind asta, sa putem la randul nostru sa intelegem si sa ajutam. Pelerinii veniti din intreaga lume.

Am avut parte si de multa mediatizare, interviuri la tv, la radio, in ziarele locale si participari la emisiuni de televiziune pe tema voluntariatului.

Dupa aceea am fost impartiti in 5 grupulete si repartizati in diverse locatii de pe traseul Camino in Galicia. Desi putin dezorientati dupa despartire, imagineaza-ti 29 tineri care am stat impreuna, o luna de zile, in acelasi albergue. Eram deja foarte uniti si apropiati.

Dar ne-am adaptat repede la viata de 6 intr-un apartament, nu de alta dar ne-au rasfatat cu apartamente mari si luminoase. Apoi, in scopuri de lucru, fiindca unii trebuiau sa lucreze in alt orasel, am primit la dispozitie o masina – pentru a o utiliza in scopuri de servici-subliniez.

Aici a inceput munca noastra de a-i ajuta pe pelerini. Zilnic, la ora de deschidere a albergue-lui ii primeam, ii inregistram, si mai apoi ii indrumam in legatura cu orasul in care se aflau, unde pot manca, ce pot face sau vizita.

Dar cea mai frumoasa parte era doar sa stai de vorba cu ei, sa le asculti povestile motivele pentru care faceau acest pelerinaj, motive care de cele mai multe ori nu erau religioase, desi izvorate dintr-o spiritualitate profunda. Pe Camino oamenii se deschid, si ti se destainuie cu o usurinta uimitoare. Asa am aflat povesti ale unor oameni din Italia, Coreea, Spania, Japonia, Africa de Sud, Danemarca, Statele Unite, Regatul Bahrain, Brazilia, Rusia, Argentina, Australia, adica..de peste tot, chiar si din Romania.

Desigur ca a trebuit sa desfasuram si un proiect personal, si ce altceva as fi putut face daca nu origami, asa ca impreuna cu pelerinii ne strangeam uneori sa impaturim hartie sub proiectul pe care l-am numit CAM’IN Origami.

Acum, dupa un an de zile, pot spune sincer ca a fost experienta care mi-a schimbat viata. M-a maturiazat, m-a facut mai responsabila cu mine si cu ceilalti, m-a ajutat in a-mi lamuri drumul in viata, si uite asa astazi studiez un Master UNESCO de Comunicare interculturala-dorinta venita tocmai datorita experientei traite in EVS, si sper ca acest drum al Interculturalitatii sa nu se opreasca aici.

Ar fi spus mult mai multe, dar cred ca le veti intelege voi singuri din pozele atasate.

Un gand de final… Nu ezitati nici o clipa in a spune Da experientei EVS, caci indiferent cum va fi ea acum, mai tarziu sigur ii veti simti roadele minunate!

About the project: CultHus has just a small staff, so each one must be take different tasks depending on the actual situation a project-reality. The timetable below shows a working week based on work with graphic design and info-activities both in culture-house, but also for local school-classes. Beyond this the volunteer will have 2 days weekly keeping the café of “Kulturforsyningen” open and friendly.

Andreea Luntraru: ” A trecut deja o saptamana de cand sunt in Danemarca astfel ca s-au adunat cateva lucruri de spus. Prima impresie pe care am avut-o despre Danemarca a fost cea pe care o asteptam, calatorisem de multe ori in Austria si banuiam oarecum ca sunt asemanatoare. In primele doua zile am experimentat totusi socul, uimirea si o usoara panica vizavi de faptul ca sunt atat de departe de casa si de persoanele dragi, amestecate totodata cu bucuria ca am ajuns in punctul in care imi doream, acela de a fi voluntar EVS, de a face parte dintr-un program cu renume international unde poti invata lucruri noi, cunoaste o cultura si invata o limba si toate celelalte lucruri care vin o data cu “pachetul EVS”. Pentru mine tot ce experimentez si cunosc aici este important astfel incat, organizatia la care lucrez dar si orasul si tot ce intalnesc au importanta. “

Daniela Ruxandra Stoian: “ In concluzie ne intelegem bine cu toata lumea. Aseara am avut primul evenimet de cafenea de seara pentru noi, in care am aranjat tot aici si am stat la povesti cu formatia (o tipa si un tip, tineri) am mancat impreuna pizza, am mai avut ajutor un angajat de aici care stia mai bine cum merg lucrurile. A fost chiar frumoasa prima seara la bar. In OnArrival a fost deasemenea frumos, m-am distrat cu ceilalti tineri volunati, destul de multi de 19 ani. vreo 5 germani ( cei mai multi). Au fost placute activitatile de invatare, Kit si Anya au incercat sa faca programul cat mai bun, erau 3 pauze de cafea si gustare dar in rest programul a fost destul de incarcat. Locul era deasemena special, un asa numit Høyskole ( o forma de invatamant creata de un danez Grundvig) , cu profil atletic. Luam mesele impreuna cu studenitii de acolo, si am dormit in camere ca si ei si am avut acces la piscina si trambuline si alte sporturi in salile foarte frumos amenajate.”

About the project:

The volunteers will have a 35hour working week and vacation according the EU rules about EVS.

Activities which the volunteers can do in the afternoon working hours are:

- Help with Web administration – For this activity, it is desirable that the volunteer knows how to operate a computer and has knowledge of using the internet. The point of this activity is to promote the work of our organization and members and to create new connections. There will be a gallery on the web-site, and the volunteer will be given a chance to take pictures and publish them. giving information to the community: through e-mails, or on the spot about the “youth in action” programme).

- an opportunity to write a weekly blog and that way stay a link for all involved.

- creative workshops, (creating masks, poi, creating video awareness programmes),

- educational workshops and design of promo materials,

- socializing within the youth club and animation games,

- helping organizing local events for the City of Osijek, etc.

Activities which the volunteers can do in the morning working hours are:

- Offfice and administration work in the Youth centre

–Kindergarten ( children from the age of 6 months to 6 years) – 3 times 2 hours per week

- Cooperation with the dog asylum, – 2 times per week including Saturday.

about the project:

“Una Casa per il Volontariato” is a EVS group project between Italy, France and Romania and it will involve 2 volunteers. The activities will be lasting 12 months and will take place in Milan and its province. It will consist on the one hand in promoting volunteering and European Active Citizenship between citizens, on the other hand to promote European opportunities for associations.

The main themes are: European active citizenship and youth information.

The general objective is to promote Volunteering and Active Citizenship among citizens.

There are two specific objectives. The first one is to strengthen the volunteering infrastructure for volunteer organizations by supporting the creation and design of the Milan House of Associations, the creation of the Documentation and Reserach Centre for Volunteering, the coordination of associations’ thematic networks. The second one is to increase citizens’ active participation to the community life, by supporting activities like Expo Volunteer Programme, EVS and Youth in Action promotion, the European Active Citizenship promotion with schools and for young people.

The volunteers will be involved in the following activities, too: information and news communication through website, web 2.0 and newsletter for associations and citizens, contact building with other European countries associations in order to promote and exchange good practices

The methods applied will be: learning by doing, intercultural learning, project management, communication through ITC technologies, peer education technique in activities with young people, production of documents, research and documentation, informal and non-formal education, participation and leading of young people

About the project

Linked with this mission, the volunteer will also be responsible for the development of the European dimension of the Youth and Cultural Centre, especially its international hosting centre : creating new contacts with European partners, creating communication tools, leaflets, etc, in various languages, participating in European seminars…)
